                      DeGenerate v. 0.1
                      by kraviz/Abhorus

Main:

I don't think the soft is much actual nowadays.
We are surrounded by new generation of music synth tools.
Nevertheless old good trackers are still powerful.
The thingy was written for our potential intros. I know just
a couple of good tools of that kind around, but I never felt
they were really "visual". That is my view of what I'd like it
to be. For sure, another reason of development was to practice
  in that area.
If some of newcomers get any use of it, I will be sincerely
satisfied, as I've seen some dozens of nice 64Ks which could
make their music much better and save a lot of space (don't
forget usual compression methods aren't high-effective for
  slightly correlated data).

Feature:

"DeGenerate" supports automatic copy of wave data to clipboard.
It allows you to paste it to tracker supporting pasting (e.g.
ModPlug). This may save time (especially combined with hot keys)
during tweaking, as you don't need to repeat save/load actions
each time you change any parameter.

Support:

No docs yet (proggy's got to be pretty friendly to people familiar
with sample techniques) except hints (keep mouse cursor above
control element for a while). But if some people ask me for help,
I could strain myself to beget a couple of illustrtated lines.

It's supposed to work in 1024x768. In case some of you find it
useful and/or are used to 800x600 (or your monitor isn't far
better than mine), let me know. I'll try to rearrange the GUI.

Bugz:

Sure, if you find any - let me know.

  NOTE:
If you set some high frequency you might wonder about the wrong
picture of the generator form. Don't worry, that's an artifact
of low quantization frequency (i.e. graphic is too small to show
the whole thing) in compliance with Kotelnikov (Nyquist)
    theorem.

Thanks:

As curious of you might have noticed "DeGenerate" is pretty
much alike "SeqGen by AND" (www.and.intercon.ru). This one was
always a strong standard for me. But I didn't know anything about
its file-format and no source code was provided. Thus thanks to AND
  for giving a good direction ;) .

Thanks to many people who participated in HUGI's coding corner
  (www.hugi.de) and ModPlug forum (http://www.modplug.com).
