| Introduction |
InterVideo Inc.'s WinDVD2000 is a simple-to-use DVD player combining all the features you would expect to find in a standard consumer DVD player, in addition to some very advanced functionality, such as full VCD 2.0 support, full precision video decode, a choice of user interfaces, and video display options. You can play DVD titles or Video CDs - WinDVD2000 automatically determines the type of disc in the DVD drive and uses the correct playback method.
Each DVD (Digital Video Disc or Digital Versatile Disc) is designed by the DVD author. Different authors create different features for their specific disc. WinDVD2000 handles all of the features used by most DVD authors today.
Most DVD discs have menus through which you can navigate. WinDVD2000 recognizes these features and lets you access them through the WinDVD2000 user interface.
